I live in the very cold Midwest, where good boots are critical in the winter. Last winter I got a pair of minetonka's of a similar style, but they had no arch support and cold radiated through the soles on very cold days. I'd tried on several styles of Emu's this winter, and this style is the only one that comes with great arch support. The quality of the sheepskin is extremely good, and they stay warm and dry even when walking in snow in single digit cold with no socks. My only problem with these is the fold down cuff. I had the impression that the cuffs would stand up or fold down, however, they don't stand up well over pants because they are slit on the side, though they work just fine tucked inside my pant legs. Folded down, they just seem awkward to me with longer length pants on. That is my only complaint. They've been my go-to boots in extreme cold and fresh snow.

I loved this boot. Unfortunately I had to send it back for a larger size. I always wear an 8 and needed a 9. I was never able to get a 9 in the color chocolate so I am hoping that they will carry it again in the future.

I love these boots with only one exception. When you turn up the top - it doesn't stay up well. You can wear skinny jeans inside, but bootcut jeans have to go over the top and look strange unless you turn up the top of the boots. The boots are extremely warm and cozy. They would have received a 5 star if the boots had a button loop or something to hold them together at the top when turned up.

I was not satisfied with this item and wanted to return it. There were no invoices or instructions in the box so I e-mailed the seller for information on how to achieve this. To date I have not received a response. I also noted that my account was charged for two pairs and I only received one. I did not intend to order two so I may have inadvertendly done this, but then why did I receive only one pair? If this is resolved in the near future I will gladly re-evaluate my experience.

I've owned the men's version of this slipper for over a year. I just bought a pair of these for my wife and she LOVES them! They hold up well, they're very warm, and extremely comfortable. If you're wondering about what size to buy, go for the larger size. My wife wears an 8-8.5 in nearly every shoe. We got her a size 9 and that was the correct choice. They're perhaps a tiny bit too big, but an 8 would have been too small. Plus, she occasionally likes wearing socks with her slippers, and socks would make a size 8 unwearable. For the men's version, I wear a 12.5-13 in most shoes and my size 13 Bearpaws fit perfectly. In my opinion, these are the best slippers ever made.

The recepient of my gift of the Bearpaw Women's Bootie/slippers informed me that they fit perfectly and were warm and comfortable. The hard sole allowed her to wear them to take out the trash or go to the mailbox. The winter, there, has been long and cold. I was very pleased.

My sister absolutely loves these slippers. I bought her a pair for Christmas over a year ago and she wore holes through the bottoms by the time this year came around. We wear the same shoe size so I had tried them on beforehand to make sure they were the right size and found they were amazingly comfortable.
I decided to replace the slippers for her birthday this year. I work at a shoe store and know that the sizes can change from year to year so I tried on the new ones to make sure the size still worked. The size was fine but I noticed the inside felt a lot less fluffy than the original pair. That being said, I have a feeling these ones will wear out faster than the other pair and it's - to replace them every time.
Oddly enough, for Christmas she decided to get me a pair as well so I could see what all the fuss was about. Instead of ordering online she got the same exact pair at a sporting goods store on sale for . They do keep my feet very warm and they are comfortable but I don't think I would have ever paid - for my own pair.

I ordered these shoes in a U.S. size 8 (I usually wear a 8-8 1/2). I returned them because my toes were right at the end and didn't want to chance the shoes not stretching out for me. The feel was amazing though!!! The sheepskin was so soft and the support felt great. My sister own the Emu Bronte's which didn't have the same feel. The stinger is defiantly a more luxurious shoe for the money. In the end I purchased the Emu Outback which had the same great feel as the Stinger.

These boots are nice and warm, real sheepskin and have a good thick lug sole that is sturdy and durable enough for country wear. I liked the first pair so much at a pair that I got another of a different color for the same price and stashed away them for later. They would be great boots for fall or winter horse back riding, or any kind of dry outdoor activity short of very long walks or hiking. Aces!!

I bought these and have been very happy with them. The only thing that could be better is that the sheepskin is dyed black to match the shoes and stains my feet without socks. It would be better if they were natural colored sheepskin so the dye does not get on my skin. Otherwise I am very happy with the feel, the size is just right. Awesome for the price.

I love the boots, very well made, and very warm and comfy. The only thing I didn't like was the heavy duty sole. They're like ready to go hiking or something. Just wanted some towny boots. But I kept them , they're very well made and like I said warm and comfy. The thicker sole does make them more comfortable to walk in for long periods of time :)

These boots are very well-made and great for the price...they have a stiffer sheepskin that takes awhile to give in and their wool lining on the inside of the boot is super thick for extra warmth...Overall I'm very satisfied with the boot, but be careful, they do tend to run small so you may want to size up...
